Georgia Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl

The Helen Ruffin Reading bowl is the original reading competition created by Georgia educators to encourage students to read!

Schools and public libraries throughout the state of Georgia compete annually in Local, Regional, and State Finals competitions to answer questions about award nominated books.

Registration for 2024-2025 Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl (Grades 4-5, 6-8, 9-12) is now OPEN! 

Registered teams must submit payments to compete. Registration ensures you receive direct communication about the competition and are eligible to advance to the next level of competition.
